Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Stone Artisan to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for crafting exquisite stone products, contributing to the artistic and aesthetic elements of our projects. The Stone Artisan will work with a variety of stones, including marble, granite, and other natural materials, to create unique and visually stunning pieces.

Responsibilities:

    Stone Crafting: Utilize precision tools and equipment to shape, carve, and sculpt stone into intricate and detailed designs.

    Material Selection: Work with various types of stone, including marble, granite, limestone, and other natural materials, selecting the appropriate materials for each project.

    Project Interpretation: Interpret and understand project blueprints, drawings, or client specifications to bring artistic visions to life.

    Surface Finishing: Apply finishes to stone surfaces, such as polishing, grinding, or texturing, to achieve desired appearances.

    Repair and Restoration: Perform repair and restoration work on existing stone structures, ensuring the preservation of the original design.

    Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines when operating tools and machinery, maintaining a secure and hazard-free work environment.

    Collaboration: Collaborate with architects, designers, and other team members to ensure the successful execution of projects.

    Quality Control: Conduct quality checks on completed projects to ensure they meet the highest standards of craftsmanship.

Qualifications:

    Proven experience as a Stone Artisan or similar role.

    Proficiency in working with various types of stone and knowledge of their unique characteristics.

    Skill in using precision tools and equipment, including chisels, grinders, and polishing machines.

    Understanding of safety practices in stone crafting and familiarity with protective gear.

    Attention to detail and a keen eye for artistic design.

    Ability to interpret blueprints and project specifications.

    Physical strength and stamina for prolonged periods of standing and manual labor.

    Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Education:
A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Additional certifications or apprenticeships in stone crafting are a plus.
